Health & Safety, notice to all members,
visitors & spectators
Must ask the parents or guardians of a junior entrant
(under the age of 16 years old), that they accept, that model car racing can be
both hazardous & dangerous, especially whilst marshalling.
BECCLES & LOWESTOFT RADIO CONTROL CAR CLUB WILL
NOT be held responsible for any loss or injuries sustained
whilst at a race meeting, and any claim MUST be made directly to the BRCA
If any parent or guardian is unable to accept this
disclaimer, they must find a substitute marshal for the entrant & inform
the race director immediately. The substitute marshal MUST be over 16 years old
& hold a current BRCA licence. If this cannot be arranged the entrant will
not be allowed to race.
ALL BRCA licence holders (including under 16 year olds)
are covered by the sports governing body comprehensive insurance policy,
details of this insurance policy, can be found in your BRCA handbook, a
copy can also be found at race control.
All spectators must remain off the track at all times,
& all children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
The only persons allowed on the track whilst a race is in
progress are the marshals & club officials, these persons must be
registered & hold a current BRCA licence or have temporary club membership.
BECCLES & LOWESTOFT RADIO CONTROL CAR CLUB OFFICERS & MEMBERS OF THE CLUB, have taken all reasonable precautions to make your visit to our club a safe one, however the club, officers & members will not be held responsible for any loss or injuries however caused to any adult or child whilst at a race meeting, persons entering do so at their own risk.
